Not every build is about lift height or tire size. Sometimes the biggest transformation comes from cleaning up what is already there. This Ford Raptor is a great example, same truck, same stance, but a completely different presence once every detail was brought together.

The Goal

The owner wanted a full exterior restyle that made the Raptor's factory details flow together better. No major mechanical changes, just a cleaner, more cohesive look from front to back.

Lifted dark blue Ford Raptor pickup on a gravel roadside under a clear blue sky, with large tires and shiny wheels.

Step One: Paint Match

We started by paint matching the front bumper, rear bumper, and fender flares to the body color. This is one of those upgrades that does not always get noticed at first glance, but it makes a big difference. Instead of the factory two-tone look, the whole truck now reads as one solid, intentional color from every angle.

Step Two: Blackout Details

Next, we blacked out the front grille, bumper inserts, hood inserts, fender inserts, mirror accents, and tailgate molding. Individually, these are small changes. Together, they strip away the visual clutter of chrome and trim accents and replace it with a cleaner, more aggressive theme that ties the whole exterior together.

Step Three: Window and Light Tint

To finish it off, we tinted the fender flare marker lights, grille lights, taillights, and third brake light. This darkens up the lighting elements for a more consistent look front to back, and it is the kind of detail that completes a blackout build instead of leaving it half finished.

The Result

Lots of small changes, but together they completely change the presence of the truck. This Raptor did not need a lift or a wheel and tire swap to look like a different vehicle, just a shop willing to sweat the details.

Build Summary:

  • Paint matched front bumper, rear bumper, and fender flares

  • Blacked out grille, bumper inserts, hood inserts, fender inserts, mirror accents, and tailgate molding

  • Tinted fender flare marker lights, grille lights, taillights, and third brake light

Wheels & Tires

This Raptor is also riding on a set of KMC beadlock wheels paired with 37x12.50R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. These were not installed by us, but if you are looking for this exact wheel and tire setup, or something similar, it is absolutely a package we can put together for your truck or SUV.
